Is anyone racing a night race and noticing that its partially slower than
a day race? Or have I gone mad?

No, you have'nt gone mad. At night, the track surface is cooler.
Tires can take more time to come up to temp, so you could lose
speed/grip=slower times. I run different setups for day/night races.

## CrossPoint v3.02 ##
It's in the original game. If you play a season, Martinsville, or one
of those stupid annoying tiny ovals, is raced at night. Some people
know how to race at night every race, but I couldn't care less. Who's
looking at the sky during a race?!?!?!
