Last night I was playing with the cars95 (iwcccars.zip) configuration and
somehow screwed up and received the message unable to load cars - not
enough memory or imcomplete install. I looked in the gameopts.cfg file
and saw a entry for "cars 4". Thinking this was the problem I renamed
the file and restarted the game. A message flew by saying that the
gameopts.cfg not found - using defaults. At this point a new gameopts.cfg
file was created and everything worked fine.
The reason I mention this, is a ways back I saw a post that said if you
get the unable to load cars message, a reinstall was needed. This is a
way around re-installing.

I had this happen to me too, and i fixed it the same way..whew..i was worried
that i would have to re-install...it was a few weeks ago..all it does is
default back to the original options...sure is a lifesaver...
