Need 4 Speed ccoming soon!

Just visited the EA Web Page, and it said Need 4 Speed for PC is coming in September. There were screen shots available, playable demo, and information. Didn't check out the screen shots nor the information, but did download the demo. It was supposed to be a 20M demo, but when I downloaded it, it was only less than a 1M. Anyone else got the demo to work? Also, it said the minimum/recommended requirements are: DX2/66, local-bus SVGA video. Anybody else have any info about the game? Saw it for the 3DO and it seemed like a cool game.

http://www.ea.com/ I DON'T get the demo to work either !! when I start the damn thing it gives me the following file error: openhandle - frontend/art/mouse.fsh file error I made a bootdisk exactly as the readme file indicated and I use pkunzip v2.04g. I have a P-90, 16 mb RAM, 2MB VRAM so that should also not be a problem. Is the demo incorrect or does it go wrong when downloading? I don't get a Ziperror when unzipping the file so ....... Harald

I've just downloaded the demo and it didn't work for me either. I get the same openhandle frontend/art/mouse.fsh FILE ERROR problem as above, but i didn't get a zip error. Richard Miles

It looks as if someone at EA just zipped up the first dir of the game, and forgot to include directories. Dave
