Just bought Nascar, need help

2 posts by 2 people · 13 Jul 1995 - 13 Jul 1995

I picked up Nascar by Papyrus couple of days ago and I have not been able to figure out how to load the opponent cars included in the paintkit into the game. As it is now, all the opponent cars in the game have no decals. I have read and re-read the manual but have not found anything about this in there. Also, the graphics resolution is a lot lower than I expected even for VGA. I have played around with the frame rates, tried turning all options to "on" and "auto" but this doesn't seem to have any affect. Finally, is there a Nascar or Papyrus FAQ anywhere? Thanks. If you are not seeing the graphics on the cars during the race, you will need to go into the OPTIONS / GRAPHICS menu and turn them ON. If they are set to AUTO the game will turn them off if it needs the resources. There is a key that you can hit during run-time to do this but I can't recall what it is right now. I think it's "7"... Good Luck! Ray Shelton
