HELP !!
I`m the owner of the UK version of the NASCAR manual and I`m desperately
trying to build a "favorites" car set. But thanks to the manual, I`m getting
nowhere fast. I`ve already posted one gripe about the manual but now I
can`t import any downloaded .pcx files into PAINTKIT. I have stored the
.pcx file in the PAINTKIT directory, the NASCAR directory and the destination
directory but every time I click on IMPORT, the car I`m working on just goes
white. EXPORT works fine and creates it`s own little .pcx. Am I missing
something ? Are there any secret commands I should be typing. I have tried
typing PAINTKIT <directory> <name of pcx> but it totally ignores the second
part :(
Thanks in advance,
Andy

This is the long way but it seems to work. Open your cars94 in paintkit.
export the pictures, one at a time and rename them in DOS. for instance
name nas94.pcx nas94.old Take a pcx such as Tide.pcx and rename it to
nas94.pcx and so on untill you have replaced all the exported pcx files
with those you wish to import. Takes awhile but it works. Anyone know of
any faster way, let us know.
Call the Papyrus BBS at 617-567-7472 and download the file PAINTKIT.TXT
This will give you very explicit instructions for importing and exporting
cars.
