I have called the Papyrus BBS and I have downloaded some of their files, but I have no idea how to read these files. A freind of tried to use PKUNZIP and that idn't work either. Is there something I'm doing wron? Is there a secret? I was told by Papyrus that there are some setups there that I could retrieve? Does anyone know about this BBS that could help?? Thanks for any help!

Thanks for any help! Make sure you are using the correct version of PKUNZIP. They do have it there online if you need it (although you'd be better off getting it through the net). The setups *might* help you, then again, they might not. I tried to use a few, but found them unworkable for me. The trick is to first learn how to drive the car, then tune it in. There is a file (I can't remember what it is called offhand) that is helpfull in tuning the car. I think it was NCCAR.zip. It's a zipped *.wri file that is rather helpful for the beginner. Then you can try getting the Circle Track Annual edition '95. IF you can find it. While it is aimed at real car drivers many of it's tips are equally valid for the sim. The really Great thing about Papyrus is that is is very racer friendly (as long as you don't go out of the way to make an ass out of yourself). A lot of great (and not so great) racers gather there. Thanks for any help! I could probably help you if you told me what the extension was on the files you downloaded. Pkzip/unzip only works for a .zipped file(usually a *.zip extension). Many of the files on that bbs are not zipped.
