Debby,
You need to position the car so that the mechanic with your pit sign is just
visible.
Make sure that you are pressing the brake key and that the car is at a complete
stop.
You should see a red timer appear in the top right of the screen, this will
turn green when the tyres etc have been changed.

Make sure you press your brake when you pit. If you don't nothing will
happen.

Press the brake button!! If that doesn't work change the
button to something else.
