It's a bit like skiing. If you are afraid to fall, you will learn very slowly. So if simulators was much better than they are, it would be a very fast way to learn how to drive or race. ;) -- Jone Tytlandsvik http://tytlandsvik.no mailto: firstname at lastname dot no

Hi Jan, have you received my recent mails regarding the carting event? We're planning to do it on Nov 27. The current plan is to do 15 minute stints. The first stint would be practice, the second Q, and the other two will be races. I've invited DGF as well but the mail has come back - Dave, if you're reading this and want to come, let me know. -- Achim http://users.skynet.be/AchimT

Thanks for the invite, but I'll be here at home on the wrong side of the Atlantic in Nov. unfortunately. :-) Sounds like a tremendous amount of fun though. When I'm in Europe in the future, and if there's a chance of making it to one of these karting events, I'll be there no matter what. :-) -- David G Fisher [email hidden]

I'd probably fell quite a few inches shorter, and worse, those inches would probably be spread out across a considerable area.
