I was racing at Michigan and my grandson (3) was watching. I was intently
watching the cars ahead of me when my grandson hit a key or keys. Suddenly
I had a menu with the cursor scrolling uncontrolably thru the menu. When I
finally got things under control and went back to racing I found another
surprise. My joystick functions had rotated 90 degrees to the right - that
is to say pushing the stick to the left has no effect but pushing the
joystick away from me turns the car left. Moving the stick to the right
has no effect but pulling the stick towards me turns the car right.
I tried re-calibrating the stick but with no success. I even erased the
calibration file and recalibrated - the joystick functions are still
screwed-up.
I loaded NASCAR and I can drive there just fine. The joystick is working
fine in other games too.
What happened? Can somebody help me? I love my grandson but I do miss Indycar.
