Some time ago I posted something about Indy 500 the simulation.
I haven't received any replys, so I am trying again.
Because of the increase of postings about this game I have begun
to race there again and I managed to equal my record of 37.56.
I have done this with the Lola and a setup from a computer magazine.
However I was wondering if the other 2 cars can beat the Lola. Any
ideas?
Also if you don't mind give me some tips. I am sure this is no problem
since the game is old anyway and there is no compeition (I think) for
it, so these setups don't have to be too secret.

I don't think you'll find any setup in the sim faster than the Lola.
Btw, the record for Indy 500 fast lap is held by Robert Taylor at 243.10
mph.

I have done over 241 MPH with the Lola-Buick. (I think is was 37.33
seconds). This is my own setup which I think I posted to this
conference some time ago.

No, the Chevy and the Cosworth just don't have the HP of the Buick.
Also you will notice that the Chevy only gets 35 in of boost (Cosworth
45 in, Buick 55 in).
