Is Elmo drunk ?

I have noticed that when I am in front on a yellow flag, the pace car weaves quite a lot. I didn't notice this before v.1.2, well I really never spent much time up front anyways. Elmo swerves most severely entering and exiting turns, but he also does it in the middle of the straights. He even side-swiped me up into the wall once. I increased his traction numbers 200 points, but it really didn't help much, if at all. Anybody seen this also,and/or what's the fix (besides calling A.A. and staying back in the pack on yellows). He'll do that when you're too close. Back off a little

I've noticed Elmo will swerve if i get too close to him.... You're supposed to stay behind the pace car... He can't sideswipe you if you're behind him... just increase your distance between him and you and he'll stop weaving... (#82 Havoline/Chevy)

Actually that's the way Elmo drives in real life. He has a reputation for going off course. In fact Elmo went off course twice last year at Sears Point. Bob
