: Does anyone here have an opinion on 256K or 512K cache? The expert here : at work says it is useless to have 512K. He basically says the "law of : diminishing returns" comes into play after 256K. Basically, I am wondering : if I should drop my system (getting ready to order) down to 256K and use the : saved $ somewhere else (like uprade the Monitor to a NEC or MAG...etc). Does : anyone have any info regarding this. : Thanks, : Shayne Judkins : P.S. - I am posting this here because I think NASCAR will be my "main game". I : am curious as to whether or not it will run any "smoother" with 512K : cache instead of 256K. : he's right. I'd invest in a larger monitor if I were you. -- Edwin van Dalen Philips Semiconductors B.V.
