Julius,
Although I have recently joined the ICR ranks, I used to play a pretty
good Grand Prix motorcycle game for the Mac. I believe it is called
Cycles from Accolade, and it offers 125, 250, & 500 cc classes. The
drawback is the game is in black & white and the sound isn't up to par
w/ what we are used to on the Macs. But, it does offer some pretty
good racing entertainment w/ a view looking over the handlebars and
through the windscreen. Not to mention the graphics aren't too bad.
This game is a couple of years old so maybe there's a newer release
out?
Either way, if you're a racing fanatic, you'll dig the knee-dragging
action.
I also saw a Formula 1 type game (named Ferrari, I think) for the Mac
offered in Mac Warehouse for $15. This is another old B&W game which
I've seen for about $35 in the store in the past. I think it is
closely related to the Cycles game. None of these games though will
offer the realism of ICR simply due to ICR's range of set-up options
and resulting affect on driving.
