Hi.
I have a few questions about F1GP ver 1.05 (Microprose F1 Grand Prix)
game.
1) Is there a faq anywhere?
2) The documentation says key "K' switches between keyboard and
joystick control. I've not seen any effect. Is there any?
3) The documentation says keys "+" control sound card volume. On
three different SB boards I've not seen any effect. What may be wrong?
4) If you start joystick calibration with a joystick button
pressed, calibration does not proceed: the game expects to see all four
joystick buttons released before starting. This is not a problem, except
for some half-game port multifunction boards. Although the game works with
a half-game port (two joystick axes instead of the four of a complete port)
some of this boards present their non-existent buttons (pins 10 and 14 of
the DB15 game connector) pressed, so the calibration process stops. Is
there a patch to "hide" the third and fourth joystick buttons?
5) For multiplayer, with two players on the same PC, it would be
interesting to switch control while in race between joysticks A and B,
connected to a full game port through a Y. This is a common case: players
used to different joysticks. Is there a way to get this in-race switching?
I'll appreciate any help. Thanks,
