To anyone that's interested, Steve Hmiel, crew chief of the Valvoline Ford that
Mark Martin drives on the Winston Cup Circuit, has been participating in a series
of segments dealing with setting up a Winston Cup Stock Car. Two weeks ago, he
talked about the fabrication of the chassis(no help for us NASCAR Racing drivers
there). Last week, he talked about front wheel caster-camber setup, and shock-
spring setups. This week, he will be talking about weight distribution and
adding/removing wedge(cross-weighting) and its effects. I think we can all
learn something about setting up our cars in NASCAR Racing.
Inside Winston Cup Racing(IWCR) can be seen on The Nashville Network(TNN) on
Saturdays at 2:30 PM EST, and again on Sundays at 8:00 PM EST (I think!). Tune
in! I'm sure we'll all learn at least something we can use in the game.
