-------------------- I don't get music, either, but I don't know if we're supposed to. Mike.

Hello, I was wondering if there is supposed to be any background music when in the main selection screens in NASCAR? In IndyCar, there was music in the background when selectin tracks, configs, etc. Please let me know what I may be doing wrong, of if there is not any background music in NASCAR. BTW, I have a Gateway2K, with Soundblaster compatible card: 220h, int 5 DMA 1. Thanks, Gene Russell

The CDROM version of NASCAR Racing has the music you speak of. The Floppy disk version seems not to have it. I installed the CDROM version with no problems on my system and got music during the intro. I installed the floppy version for a friend and he has no music. Could it be? Maybe your soundcard isn't set up right? I have a Soundblaster AWE 32 and it's fully supported. Sounds great even during the game - actually, sound is from my point of view one of the major advances in NASCAR compared to Indycar. I sounds AWESOME with a subwoofer! :-) Peter

Only at the beginning/end? This is what I have also. The original question was "Is music played while you are in the selection menus?"...you know...like IndyCar plays the music on the selection menus. It was there in the NASCAR demo version, but not in my production (1.1) version. Does anybody have music on the selection menus? : The original question was "Is music played while you are in the selection : menus?"...you know...like IndyCar plays the music on the selection menus. It : was there in the NASCAR demo version, but not in my production (1.1) version. : Does anybody have music on the selection menus? This also brings up another question that I have. In the sound menu it asks for percentage of volume for various items, one of which is announcer. Besides Ned at the begining does anybody get an announcer during a race or anytime in the game???? John : Tom.
