Is Nascar heavy on FPU calculations?

The subject title pretty much says it all. Are all of the calculations done by NASCAR (and ICR) in Floating point? The reason I ask is that it seems that in overclocking the CPU, the Floating Point Unit (FPU) seems to get a higher margin of improvement in speed than the CPU itself. Anyone knows? Alex
