Just imported Richard Burns Rally from the UK. The host system is a Athlon 2400 / XP SP2 / Radeon 9600 with latest drivers / 1GB memory. This system has run everything I've thrown at it - development tools, VMware, GPL, F1C, etc. RBR starts up fine, then gets to the "create driver profile" screen, and that is as far as it goes - both the mouse and the keyboard are dead, I can't select or enter anything. I have patched RBR up to 1.02. Has anyone seen this? Any suggestions? Help!

I have a very similar system (3200+ with a 9600XT card and 1.5GB mem) and that you have to disable AGP write in ATI's catalyst control center. You'll have to switch to advanced view in the control center and then under SMARTGART there is a checkbox for AGP Write. Failing that, you might want to check out the forums at www.racesimcentral.com since there seems to be a wealth of knowledge there too Hope that helps, DanK

Similar system, SP1, 9700Pro latest drivers, no problems - do remember that there is no mouse control, tho. Arrows only for navigation. Regards, Mark at v8thunder dot com
Thanks! That got me going. "DanK" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:hrzhd.89786$nl.52348@pd7tw3no...
