I know this has been discussed before, but I just hope Papyrus fixes it with a patch or something... CRASHED CARS GET GOING TOO QUICKLY!!!! When you're in a big pileup, especially with yellows turned on, it's important quickly get going again, but the other cars do it TOO FAST! Just watch the replay. You'll see cars spin 180 degrees and start racing back to the yellow. Isn't it amazing... when a game is THIS GOOD (trust me... it's fantastic), the little problems (which would normally seem like nit picks) seem huge. This problem makes the game very difficult for an aggressive driver like me to run long races with yellows turned on. Maybe I'll just have to try harder to stay out of trouble. 8^) I guess trying to pass 5 or 6 cars going into turn three at New Hampshire isn't such a grand idea, eh? Later... Steve

I suggest that you start running with "Damage On". It gives a whole new and more realistic feel to the sim. It also cures you of some bad habits like trying to pass 5-6 cars at at time. *** -- DSmith

Oh, I definatly DO run with damage on, but even when I DON'T cause the pileup, it still is tough to get going NEARLY as fast as everyone else. Last night, Loy Allen Jr. spun (looks like the AI is accurate!) and gathered up about 6 cars in front of me right after the start/finish line at Talledega. They were all going straight and back on the gas before I even stopped spinning. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE this game, but this one little glitch is really getting on my nerves. 8^) Later...
