I have an idea for controls for IndyCar. This system is one
that I have used for about 5 months and I would like some feedback.
The system I use is 1 joystick for the throttle and one for
steering and gearshift. On the throttle joystick, forward is
Accelerate and backward is reverse. On the Steering joystick
Left and Right are obvious, Reverse is accomplished by pulling back
on the stick, and gears are shifted by the two triggers. The one
under my fore finger shifts up and the one on top shifts down.
This setup came because I cannot afford a steering wheel/pedal
setup. I would like some feedback on this Idea for IndyCar
drivers on a little budget.
