I was having a rather silly time trying to look for the absolute limit of driver bhp in F1GP. At least the version of wcf1gp.exe editor I have limits the bhp to 999. But... it shows them up to 1461 :-) So, while testing I ran over the 16-bit integer limit (32767) and as a result I had a *negative* bhp rating. Yes, the car went fast (-1461 bhp) but it went backwards... So, on the version of gp.exe which is 321878 bytes long, modify byte at offset 4D88h to FFh and at 4D89h to 7Fh and you will have 1461 bhp. And yes, I felt really silly, getting to 350 km/h in the tunnel at Monaco, and driving over 420 km/h at Hockenheim... ;-) Now, if only someone could modify the driver tire grip too - it works for the AI drivers, so why couldn't it be possible the other way around? -- /* Carpe noctem!
