Hi all,
Just wondering, I'm contimplating getting a CD-ROM drive for the
ol' PC and I am tossing around the idea of this one by REVEAL. It's a
dual-speed and comes in at a rather nice price (under $250 Cnd). The
outside of the box states that it has a 320 ms access time and a transfer
rate of 300 KB. Also, it'll plug into my SBLaster-16.
My question: Anyone have one? Is it a good 'bang for the buck'?
The access time seems odd to me at 300 ms??? Shouldn't a dual be around
150 - 240 range???
Thanks.
