After witnesing Hakkinen's start at Hokenheim a few times I came to the
realisation that I use the same tactics when I race Hokenheim in WC/F1gp.
I try to get down the inside of the slower cars at the start....
I try to beat them to the corner.....
I try to cut them off and get in front of them.......
I wipe out half the field.....
WoW!
WC/F1gp seems even more real now......

I really agree with that what Richard said !
In fact, with my experience of F1GP I knew the first corner
can be really hard to drivers like Hakkinen who try to win the
race in the first corner... but so what... if we go some years
back we can remember it was the great Senna who used to start
the races so aggressive...
By the way... was the second chicane a little bit slower in
the real track than in the game ??? I mean the 2nd not the 3rd..

Hockenheim only has 2 real chicanes. The North chicane and the Senna
Chacane on the south side. The kink running into Ostcurve is a low 2nd gear
bend in real life but may be taken in mid to high 3rd in the simulation.
Certainly the real difference is the first corner. A 4th gear heart stopper
in real life becomes a flat 6th gear corner in the sim if you run just a
bit of rear wing.

The kink in the Ostkurve was altered last year in order to make it slower.In F1GP
there is that chicane as it was two years ago.
