Since my stoopid Indy 500 add-on hasn't come in, I've been trying to figure
out Surfer's Paradise. The default ACE setup has the car with a boost level of
6. I'ce cranked my qualify setup to 9, and can consistantly qualify in the top
10 spots (normally 4th through 7th). But... I can't catch any car on the
straights. So, I turn the boost up to 9. Now I can catch the lead cars, but
I'm more worried about what is going to happen to my fuel consumption.
So, what is everyones else's boost level? Second, but how many cheat the first
two chicanes and the back two (with the little grass strips you can run right
over)? :)

Running over the grass in the chicanes isn't really cheating; I really
think Papyrus put those grass strips in there on purpose so it can
simulate the curb-hopping that actually happens in the Surfer's Paradise
races. For reference, see how Michael Andretti thrashed the chicane
curbs in this year's Australian IndyCar Grand Prix.
