This one was a ***, because the protection was so annoying. I had
a crack for v1. but I needed 1.04 for modem.. Anyway this one should
work for all of them. But it works for 1.04.. They seemed to
have changed the coding of the protection for 1.04.
Use pctools or norton whatever and find:
00 75 13 BF 01 00
change this to
00 90 13 BF 01 00
If that does not work try:
00 75 13 BF 01 00 ---- > 00 90 90 BF 01 00
I believe the above worked for version 1 and 1.02
This type of protection scheme sucks, and I almost returned the game
because of it.
