If you defet the copy protection in WC the wrong way, the game will REFUSE to
let you finish a race. The trick is to reset the copy pointer to a particular
password. You need a hex editor.
As far as Microprose being justified in copy protection, the best way to get
a game with defeated copy protection is to PIRATE it. Thus, copy protection
is an incentive to pirate code....anything else is window dressing.
