What would people recommend as the best Force Feedback Steering Wheel out there at the moment ? I was trying to choose between Logitech, Thrustmaster, Microsoft and Act Labs. Any others I should consider ? Generally speaking the Logitech is considered the best to use i.c.w. GPL. Andrew Carroll wrote:

You must be joking! I have had the Per4mer wheel for more than a year now, and although it is a great product, it makes GPL grind to a halt with FF switched on! 9and I have a Athlon 550!) I'm in contact with SCT, but no solution so far. Iain

I use an Immersion I-Force Steering Wheel (Ultimate Per4mer Wheel) and pedals, it cost a load, but doesn't slow the machine down as it goes through the Com port rather than the Joystick Port.. The best setup would be: Logitech with the ball bearing mods: http://w1.111.telia.com/~u11103812/lwff.htm Wired with the CH pedals (I have homemade pedals). This is not an out of the box solution but is the 'best' FF setup you can't buy. DLK Andrew Carroll <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
