There are no pit road speed limits in NL.

There are two long-standing problems that have been around forever in
N1/N2/N3, and I find it troubling that these major issues have not been
fixed yet:
1. The crew ignores you when you tell them to ignore damage. You are still
held in the pits, hammers a whailing
2. Getting spun out into pit road still results in you getting a Black Flag
for breaking the Pit Speed.
I have no doubt that the same problems will exist in Nascar Legends :(
I'm getting less impressed with the underpinnings of N3 as time goes on.
Oh, and what is it with Talladega? Cars won't draft with you! They either
pass, or if they are slower than you and you try to pass them, instead of
them falling in line and drafting you, they 'slam' on the brakes to let you
pass and they end up 20 car lengths back!

When you say to stop the damage when your actually getting fixed, the car
will not be released yet, there is a time lapse between pressing enter and
getting released, to simulate that. So always give a 10second time between
pressing enter and knowing your car will be released. It can be very
helpfull when the pacecar is exiting T4, so you don't loose a lap :)

Well, there is no real way to implement a feature against that. If not, how
can the simulation determinate if you have wrecked or your going into the
pits for a normal pitstop ? Ok you will say to have a timer of 15seconds
started after you hit a wall or a car that eliminates the pitroad BF, but if
that happened people that do normal pitstops would hit the wall without
damage (inside wall) going into the pits and eliminate the speed.
I've always thought about implementing the gates like in GPL but the car
would need to go through the gates at a certain angle (like 90degrees from
the gate +/- 10degrees), but if so cars that would spin into the pits and
pass the gate in that angle would get a BF.
This also goes back to the gate system in GPL. It's very good, but let's
say it's applied to N4 at Watkins Glen for the chicane. If you get wrecked
and spin but don't pass through the gate (it often happens), you will get a
BF! Not really fair, but that's another time something complicated, much
more than people think it is. I'll let the Papy guys handle this :)

In NASCAR Legends there is no speed limit in the pits!

You don't have to be artificially
intelligent to know not to draft with you... :o)
