Does anyone have first hand experience or reliable GPL benchmarks (under
multicar race conditions) comparing a K6-2/450 with a K6-3 of the same
speed? I'm running GPL on a 12M Voodoo2, K6-2/450, 1M L2 cache and 128M
PC100 RAM.
The -3's are creeping down to my $100 CPU threshold and temptation is
growing...
My alternative is to wait for the next generation .18u K6 chips and
modify my MB to supply the < 2.0Vcore these chips will likely require.
