Just wondering if anyone knows.. After Nascar Legends is released, what other products will Papyrus be working on and releasing in the future? I hope a new CART sim is in the works. Maybe we'll find a new product advertisement in the packaging of Nascar Legends. Joe

We know for sure there is a development team working on the GPL-game engine version of their NASCAR Stock-car series. I, on purpose, did not wrote that they are working on "N4", because Sierra might want to milk the game engine another "last time" <sarcasm> ;) After that, I speculate that a team within Papy is working on a N3 patch, and possibly after a expansion pack/stand-alone title of the Craftsman Truck series with the N3 enhancements. But there is no confirmation of any other future title by Papyrus. Let's hope for a press release about that soon. -- -- Franois Mnard <ymenard> -- May the Downforce be with you... My guess is that the Papy folks are going to be spending a lot of time playing Dirt Track Racing while they rest on their laurels -- there can't be many more sim racing variations they can create using the N2 physics engine as the basis . . . ;-) -- JB Joe Taylor wrote in message <7EAM3.407$[email hidden]>...

I would love an Indy or modern F1 sim, but the fact of the matter is Nascar is Papy\Sierra cash cow and they will not let go of the tit until it stops producing milk which seems will not happen in the near future due to the incredible Nascar marketing . I 'm not to optimistic about Papy even existing long enough to produce another Nascar title though, from what I hear most of the Papy staff with the Automotive Sim passion and talent have left.
