How does one "accidentally" post a message like that on a web site? It's not
as if all you have to do is hit a wrong key. As usual, Hasbro's pullin' your
cranks folks. Like I said, I won't send one red cent to those grubby
bastards.

Right on, Bob! Come the revolution won't be no more of this crap! The
bastidges! All everybody's doing is trying to lull us into a false sense
of security, then BOOM! Right in the neck! If it ain't the Commies, it's
the Fed, and if it ain't the Fed, it's Hasbro (a well-known leader of
the Trilateral Commission, the Freemasons, and the Rosicrucians, and
also suspected in several alien abductions). Scully and Mulder are
right: Hasbro plans to sacrifice humanity to an alien overlord, who'll
put our bodies in cocoons to hatch their vile, soulless young. No more
Mom, Apple Pie, or Chevrolet -- nothing but rank upon rank of mindless
automatons shouting "Heil Hasbro! Heil Hasbro!" Come on, Bob...you 'n' I
will grab our weapons and food cache and head for that bunker in North
Dakota. They'll never take us alive!

I've never before had somebody take excerpts from four
different posts (out of context) just to make fun of me. Got a lot of time on your hands, do
you? (Uh, excuse me, I've got to iron my KKK hood.)

You should try the poly/cotton "Wrinkle-Free" ones -- saves sooooo much
time! Don't fergit yer lighter, dooood...
Oh, yeah -- LOTS of time...
Bart
Yes, I just got an identical e-mail with the same text. It looks like GP3
WILL be released in the US. It just didn't make sense why they would ignore
the US market.
So, no need to get your panties in a whirl, everyone.

I sense a conspiracy theory here.
So the announce on the website was just there to create some sort of fake
hype and to spread the word "Gp3" to every simracing fan's mouth. Typical
of Micropr.. err Hasbro :)

Didn't work for me. Still not buying.
Perhaps if they actually have a multiplayer system that rivals that of
GPL/N3 or better, then MAYBE.

Byron Forbes! Yeah, that's the guy! Most succinctly summed up in the

"I find Byron Forbes extremely offensive. Am I the only one who is
having a problem with him or are there others? Why does this NG tolerate
such behaviour from him?"
He was (and I imagine still *is*) a piece of work. His website -- the
infamous "Lightning Bolt Racing" -- is still up, though I didn't check
to see how long ago it was updated.
Ahhh, memories, memories!

Thanks, Unc! I must venture the opinion, however, that your joy at the
return of the prodigal is probably not widely shared among the
congregation here! Now who *was* that Ozzie with the great sense of
humor? Let's find him and restore a proper sense of lunacy to this NG...
All part of Life's Rich Pageant!

Odd, I got this reply today:" Thank you for contacting us.
We are still determining distribution for this product at
this time. We appreciate your patience and apologize for
the delay. We will post the latest information on our site
at www.microprose.com."
Hmm, makes you wonder....
Bob B.
LOL!!
When's the TV series being made, Barton? :o)
