Before I go out and buy a new video card I was hoping someone could help me with my current one. I have a Dell P2 400, 128 meg ram and a Monster 2 3D(12 meg) video card. In N3 I'm getting 20 fps. When I fall behind the rest of the cars it the fps jump up. But maybe there is some tweaking I don't know about? I've tried reducing details but the frame rate is not changing. Any help would appreciated and you can email me at [email hidden] thx
Do some research and don't rely necessarily on the opinions of RAS since they can be quite biased. N3 can run with D3D or Glide [3dfx] so can run fine on numerous cards such as the Voodoo3 series, NVidia TNT2/TNT2 Ultra based cards, Matrox G400 cards, etc. However, if you also run GPL, Voodoo3 is probably the way to go. If you don't, then the door is quite wide open. Ed Bain <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
