The only "official patch" is for the USA version only. You can get the
Viper Racing International 1.1 Patch at
http://www.shadows.com/nascar/
Unzip the race.exe file to the \Viper Racing\Data directory, then run
the program from the race.exe file. This is an unofficial patch from
MGI Racing.

I might be wrong here, but Im almost sure that there was a problem with the
Viper patch and international Windows installation, for the language and so.
Maybe try the SIERRA tech support board I do remember somewhere an answer
about this situation.
