Are you accidentally competing in a different standard of
race compared with your setups? i.e. you're starting an F2
championship but your setups were saved at GP level.

I'm trying to start a F2 championship and all my setups are F2.

anything other than F1 level.
Therefore, if you choose a F2 or F3 driver, whilst you can run individual
races, as soon as you choose World Championship you revert to the F1
arrangement, as do the AI.
If anybody knows of a way to run a WC season in anything other than F1
mode, please let us know!

1) You've somehow changed to a different model of car ie Ferrari to
Lotus
2) You've only been driving the F2 or F3 cars till now.
Please ignore if I'm being too obvious.
