Can anyone provide a link to a patch for the UK version of GPL? I've tried a
couple of patches from the Sierra site in the US, but these return the
message "the file ....\gpl.exe is not a valid previous version and could not
be upgraded".
The .exe file is the original version 1.0 without any patches previously
installed (I've re-copied the .exe file from the CD just to be sure).

I think you have to upgrade gpl to the 1st patch and then to the second one.
That's how it worked for me

You do NOT need to go to 1.1 first. 1.0 to 1.2 works a treat. There
is a virus that can cause this problem. I think it is CIH. You can
get the 1.2 (uk) at papy.com
