I've been running the Cooper for a league. My fast time is 1:34.10. While
looking through the LOR track guides, I decided to try running F3 cars. I
probably ran about 50-60 laps - got down to a 1:52.52(1:53's average). When I
went back to the F1's, guess what? I'm *slower*... What's up with THAT? Now
I can't get below a 1:36.7. I thought running the trainers was supposed to
HELP, not hurt?
Jeez, now I feel I have to start all over again...<sigh>

F1. 50 laps is enough to get your feet wet but not enough to teach you
much. Not a flame, just my thought on this.
Try 100 laps first, then try more laps and changing setup parameters to
get a feel for what everything does. Then go back to F1 and see if you
can set the car up to be more stable. Don't look for fast laps because
If you are looking for just that, you're not going to learn anything.
Fast lap times is more then just going as fast as you can. You have to
learn to drive properly. And that's one thing the F3's can teach you.
Not to mention the other benefits.. Less warping, better drivers, Closer
competition in F3, :)
