I just got GPL (little late eh?) and I have a few questions.
Do any of the graphics/ and or tire patches over at the Pits include 3d
tires? (like SCGT)
I'm very impressed with the graphics as is (especially for 1 1/2yr old
game!), but do the track updates make a difference?
It's hard to read the instrument panel (@1024*768), but I have seen
"fixes" for this too. Do they change the entire cockpit, or just the
gages? Does it help?
btw, I can't believe how well they implemented FF in GPL. I'm using the
ACT Force RS wheel, and for the first time I can actually feel the
wheels spinning out and losing traction! It's a big help. Now I'm just
waiting for the RS Shifter support!

Before you buy.
I downloaded some replacement gauges from:

They make a big difference. Not only do they look much better, but they
have a red-line on the tach.
If you're using OpenGL you need to set "TossHighestMip=0" in the core.ini or
they won't work.
