I've written a CGI script to dissect MGPRS2 custom season saved game files
on the fly and am looking for some help in testing it. Feel free to give it
a try and let me know if you think you've found a problem. The username and
password are test/test and the URL is:
http://topgear.dhs.org/cgi-bin/submit?season_id=2&class_id=2&circuit=1
Although it may work with other saved game types (I haven't tested it on
anything else) it was written specifically for custom seasons. Custom
season saved game files are located in the save/1997/games directory of your
MGPRS2 install directory and have the extension .gm4. The game must be
saved at the end of a race and NOT while the game is in progress (you'll
just get an error message if you do). The results for any completed race
within the saved game file can be submitted but please note that the fastest
lap information is only available for the last saved race.
If you find any bugs please email me a description of the problem as well as
attach a copy of the saved game file in question.
Thanx in advance for all your help!
