N3 Multiplayer

When running N3 multi, everytime I get the "clock zapped" message (which seems quite often!) I lose several positions on the track. Anyone else having this problem? Very frustrating I might add. I'm running a PII-400; cable modem. Any suggestions?

Get the beta patch if u dont have it: http://www.sierra.com/sierrasports/forums/motor/nr3beta/ If you have tweaked win95/98 dial up network settings i recommend using the default. The semi official v1.2 of Nascar Racing 3 is out. At the same locations as the beta patches.
