RASCAR will be running it's second winter series championship beginning this Sat., Dec. 4th. The series consists of five CTS oval races, followed by five GTP road course races. The schedule is as follows: CTS -- 12/4 Milwaukee PWF, 12/11 Thompson PWF, 12/18 Nashville PWF, 1/1 IRP PWF and 1/8 Texas. GTP--1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12. GTP tracks are TBA. The CTS race settings are 50%, yellow flags on, fixed PWF expert setups. We race on Saturdays, with the main race qualifying beginning at 4:30pm est. We also run a practice race at 3pm est. If interested in racing with us, go to the RASCAR forum http://forum.rscnet.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=142 and post your name, sierra ID, truck number (one that's not already in use), and also post a truck file if you have one. I'd be interested but...I need a tad bit more experience with N2K3 first...:-)

No, there was a post saying it was cancelled, but that was just a joke. Due on Christmas day apparently. We run practice races before the main race, so you are welcome to test yourself there and get some experience racing with the group if you'd like. You don't have to race the main until you are comfortable. We actually want new drivers to run the practice races first anyway. -- David G Fisher

uugh... I guess I'll skip the trucks, I never really got to like them as much as the TransAm / tptcc cars. I would of preferred 10 vicious road course races. :-) -- David G Fisher

IMHO... It would not bother me if we dropped ALL the truck oval races and started running TPTCC right now. -Larry "David G Fisher" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

I can't be there next Saturday, but I'd like to propose dropping any road course activity in favour of some real bullrings (using BGN, perhaps) like South Boston, Huntsville or Cordele. <vwg> Jan. =---
Hello All, I would like to re-join RASCAR for this winter series, but I will most likely only race the trucks, is that going to be ok? I can't wait to get back to racing. I have been battling a bit of cancer as of late, and now that things seem to be going better, a little online racing will be nice. I am also trying to get back into the GROWL races, but with them racing at night, that might be more difficult. But that does leave me with a question. To paint a truck for NR2k3 do I need to use a hex editor to import the paint? Or can I import it like a normal cup car? I think I have to use a hex editor for the AeroWar88 mod, and I was wondering if there is a tutorial about doing that, since I know I am going to need help making that work. Thanks, Brit btgoss

Our group seems to specialise in old farts recovering from illness :) Dave and/or Mitch or the guys who will sort you out. There's a web site with rules and schedule: http://www.schuerkamp.de/zope/rascar > But that does leave me with a question. Go to the RASCAR forum http://forum.rscnet.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=142 and start a thread which contains your name, sierra ID, truck number (one that's not already in use), and also post a truck file if you have one.
