Workaround for ordering the GPL converter outside the UK

Buyers outside the UK could not complete the converter order form. The fix, which Alison Hine passed on, was to leave the shipping country as UK since delivery was by email. The thread ended with jokes in mock Cockney.

Shouldn't be a problem as the billing address is OK and delivery is by email. Cheers, /Martin Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Here's a suggestion from someone who ordered the GPL Converter successfully: "The solution some of us have come up with in WinVROC was to use a fake shipping address, which doesn't matter (we hope) since it will be shipped via email. I know some guys used 10 Downing St as their address :) "I used something like: 1 very fake st, London, London, DN24NU, UK Hopefully this will help you guys get that Converter winging its way toward you very soon! Wait, that's right! I forgot that one. After trying a couple of times, I suddenly succeeded, but I noticed that Country changed to UK, allthough I entered Netherlands the first time. I didn't mind since the converter will be delivered by email. This must be the answer for the online ordering problem, leave the Country on UK ! :-( I can't get the online form to send it to me here in Australia. Says that they don't ship that that address :-( BTW Dave, great work.. this will inject some badly needed energy back into GPL. VROC has been dead the last 2 or 3 months... So.. how do I get it here in Australia?? I DO want to pay for it... James Pickard Melbourne Australia
