Hi guys,
I'm sorry, the Subject Header was to grab your attention! : > )
I wait forever for Colin McRea 2.
We have played Colin McRea, forwards backwards mirrored, for years
now, and still we play.
WE NEED NEW TRACK VARIETY
I need advice:
Is there any way, say using a text editor, that I can "manipulate" the
Colin McRea (PC) tracks?
Things I'd like to be able to do if they were possible & not too hard
to do: (please remember I'm Blonde, but I can rename files & cut &
paste)
In say Greece, get section 2 of stage 1 and add it to section 3 of
stage 2 & add it to section x of stage y.... and end up with a "brand
new" stage. (probably with hairy corners, or down/uphill crunches,
where section meets section - great) (doesn't matter if I lose the
co-driver or arrows, & if I can only use it in time trial).
In say Greece, manipulate Stage 1 so that it drives Sections 1, 4, 2,
5, 3, 6
In say Greece, add stage 1 to stage 2 to get a new bigger stage. (or
add stage 1 to stage 1 to stage 1 to get a new bigger stage - 3 laps)
Play a rally, or a "set" of time trials, made up of say Greece stage
2, UK Stage 4, Corsica.......
Here's one: Take the road of Greece with the scenery of Sweden (this
wouldn't give us new tracks, but they'd Look different and remembered
tricky spots would be forgotten).
Can I replace any of the "objects" in a Country. Eg. replace the
picture of the "octagonal medium sized rock" in Greece, with a picture
of "Tina's german shepherd puppy dog"
Thanks guys,
Any other suggestions to add some variety to our 115,176th playing of
our favourite game are very welcome.

I'm posting this again, about three weeks later, 2 assumptions

3) People answered & my server didn't collect the answers 30%
4) Now with a Re: people will think it's a conversation & thus comment

4 assumptions & 110%! Hey, I'm a blonde Econometrician, that's how my
estimates turn out, & 110% is nearly enough.
Last time all I got was 3 EMails talking dirty.

I've got so desperate that next time my competitor comes I'm going to
turn on the Foggy Night at a Mirror & Backwards Greece - just to get a
change.
Anyway, please someone read my post & reply saying, Yeah, easy,
just......
Thanks guys
