Cheerios (General Mills?) is running a promotion where, if you buy 3 boxes of Cheerios you can send away for any of several computer games (including NASCAR Legends!) for the cost of shipping and 3 proof of purchases. Shipping is $1.99 if you do it over the web, else it's $2.99. So, for about $8 bucks, you can pick-up NL - great deal, eh?! Jeff

You can check out the full details on this offer on the Web: http://www.cheerios.chumbo.com/products.asp Here's the text: ------------------ Welcome to the Cheerios Software Offer! We'd like to thank you for purchasing Cheerios, America's favorite cereal, by offering you your choice of 13 software titles from the selection below. To learn more about Cheerios or Chumbo.com, click on their respective logos or cereal boxes in the graphic above. Here's How to Get Your Free Software: Collect three (3) validation codes ("O"-Codes) found on the inside panel of specially marked boxes of Cheerios for each software title selected. Choose one (1) title from the selection below by clicking the "choose me" button. If you want detailed information about a title prior to making your selection, click on the "get info" button. Limit two (2) titles per household. You will be prompted for your second title after entering your first title information completely. Note: Three "O"-codes are required per title. A $1.99* per title shipping and handling fee will apply to online orders. Click here to download your FREE interactive screensaver, exclusive to the Cheerios software offer Web site! *A $2.99 per title shipping and handling fee will apply to mail orders. ------------ Note that even though this is a mail-in offer, you can also order directly from their Web site using the "O-code" numbers. If any of us manage to obtain extra "O-codes," we might want to share them with our Cheerio-deprived friends in the UK. -- JB In article <GixG4.556$[email hidden]>, [email hidden] (The Enigmatic One) wrote: > > >Cheerios (General Mills?) is running a promotion where, if you buy 3boxes > >of Cheerios you can send away for any of several computer games(including > >NASCAR Legends!) for the cost of shipping and 3 proof of purchases. > >Shipping is $1.99 if you do it over the web, else it's $2.99. I just picked up 3 boxes last night here in Spokane Washington. Look for a blurb on the front that offers free software. The various boxes were shown on the back and they had a 3 or 4 inch Cheerrio painted on the back that you need. dave henrie The Enigmatic One wrote:

Thanks from me also to the person that originally posted this Cheerios software link. I picked up my three boxes of Cheerios yesterday and ordered Nascar Legends through the internet...
