Really? I've only played it a little on a friend's machine. The first time I ran it, it felt really good. The next few times it seemed rather dull. Now I understand. I had the more difficult physics settings the first time, but then didn't run AOE the other times. Learn something new every day! Might have to revisit this one. Stephen

Hi: Just picked up my LWFF on the weekend, and it came with a copy of SCGT. Having some fun with it, and was just wondering what some of the essential add-ons are, in folks opinions. I remember a while back there was a lot of discussion here about some humungous (200 Mb or so) downloadable add-on, but I didn't pay much attention at that time since I didnt have SCGT. Anyone remember this add-on and what it does, and (more importantly!) where I can find it? Thanks, RC

Advanced Options Editor. 1st it gets rid of the super sticky grass that will suck your car off the course if you so much at touch the stuff. 2nd, you can adjust the Physics a-bit to allow for a more simlike feel, and change from standard, front or all wheel drive cars.(this will be a must when the 2.0litre super touring cars come out.) One note about the many many addon cars. Most of the car crafters have tried to get the proper power and weight etc down to a pretty reasonable accuracy. So if you say...dload the new Audi open top, don't go piling extra turbos's, chips, exhausts etc on the cars. You can take a tiny Porche 911 and with the proper mods it can blow the big bad daddy Panoz away on the straights. The ALMS patch especially tries for a consistent spreading of vehicle performance. Go to the GTIC site on gtinsider for a listing of power mods they allow. Generally supsension and Aerodynamics and gearboxes for the LMP cars are all they allow. dave henrie Ashley McConnell wrote:

> 6. The 3.0 Service pak(125 megs){hard to find right now} www.littleracer.com is supposed to be putting the patch up one file at a time over the next month or so. The site's down for a while now, but I think it's supposed to be up again soon. Up until right before it went down, it was still only at file 1. Hopefully they'll continue putting the rest of the files up. I've been trying to get that one for ages. Marc

Damn, if I had realized this, I'd have d/l'ed it LONG ago. I *hate* that grass effect... What idjit developed the grass...?<g> Eldred -- Tiger Stadium R.I.P. 1912-1999 Own Grand Prix Legends? Well Eldred, it is one of those stupid design decisions that they make to try and keep everyone from cheating and cutting the corners. ISI started off with a pretty lame bunch of choices, (no cockpit, no lights, sticky grass etc) but they made things right with most of it. dave henrie EldredP wrote:
