OK, here ya go: English sucks as a language of expression.
It's the international language of everything because Richard Nixon went
to the UN and bullied everybody into it, but we'd ALL rather be speaking
Urdu.
I am just a demented sot constitutionally unable to learn seven
languages and walk on water (Camper Van Beethoven).
Everyone who has criticized my arguments is absolutely and unequivocally
correct, and obviously far more intelligent than I could ever hope to
be.
All your arguments are brilliant, well-reasoned, and without flaw.
Does *that* satisfy everyone's ego?

Well, okay. But it was becoming quite an interesting thread.
(And I, for one, wouldn't ever say that English sucks as a language of
expression. I would only question the viability of putting its subjective
qualities forward as reasons for its dominance in global informational
systems. But, I suppose, that's simply me being silly.)
