NFSPU + V2 SLI = 1024x768 in glide. Heres how

I did read the read me file & : the read me file refers to a 3dsetup.ini file in the archive which I cannot locate?? all I see is the readme & a setup read me type file... is it something where i change current setting s somewhere instead of loading in a new file?? thanks TP

ok...I understand now...but here's my problem..I changed the thrash driver from dx to voodoo 2 & now all the on screen words in the game a garbled & weird + the resolution only went up to 856x480x16 not the desired 1024?? is it that my system just won't make this edit happen or is there something I still need to change? 400 mghtz Pent 2 128 Ram Creative Labs Voodoo 2 thanks remove NOSPAM or reply here... You have to have "view all file types" selected in windows settings. You won't see an .ini file with the default windows settings---- I believe. In case still have a problem heres the contents of the .ini file... Doug... is the previous post info for people with 2 voodoo 2 cards? I only have one....u must be linking 2 cards huh? u mentioned in an earlier email , something only recognizing 2 cards....that must be my prob.... TP

I dont know much about editing registry, so I went to the 3DSetup folder, opened the 3dsetup.ini file and changed the line: CARD_3Dfx Voodoo2 /M:dx /I replace "dx" with "voodoo2" to read: CARD_3Dfx Voodoo2 /M:voodoo2 /I then run the 3DSetup.exe program again. The only problem I saw was that some of the menu text are a little blurry and I dont think "Fraps" frame rate check program will work in Glide. Lutrell o)+> wrote in message ...

The blurry menu text problem goes away if you use the reference drivers. I think it will work with a V3. It has V3 listed in the .ini file so I don't see why not.
