I know this is a "common known problem" but i've forgotten the fix.. When i select "generic" driver (so papy driver), then the calibration screen shows no input (i have a TM supersport, 3 axis). I just can calibrate when i select the Windows driver. What's the problem??? I need this papy driver because all my setups are developped with this one (the other one feels different and not so good). Thanks

What are the differences between the two drivers? I've never understood why there are two options. "jld" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

In you GPL/Player/<your name> directory delete controls.cfg. Then reboot your system and start GPL. It should work then. THM jld <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

I don't know exactly what, but i can guarantee you that there is a difference between the drivers. To me, the generic one has a linearity curve (i usually set the linearity button in the mid position) smoother than the "Windows" one.For instance, with the regular one, i have more difficulty to counter steer without having a strong reaction from the car . With the regular driver, i also feel more entry understeer than with the papy driver, everything else being the same. It's just my feeling. What other people think about it? AndrewS a crit :

What other people think about it? >With my TM Formula Sprint (aka Nascar Sprint), the only driver that works ok is "generic". The "Direct Input" is twitchy and unpredictable. For instance, when going round the slowest part of Parabolica it sometimes makes the car suddenly jump up on the cerb without any change in steering input.
