Problem with f1 2k and nfs 5

Hello, For some mysteriuos reason I can't launch these games. In F1 2K I can reach the main menu screen, all the options but when I launch the game the screen goes back to W98 In NFS Porsche i can't even get to the main menu. Both games are myth versions. I got athlon 700, 128 Megs, cougar video board, DX 7.0a, 3dfx2, I have latest drivers for video and 3dfx. Anybody got this problem ? Thx a lot
