Yes, the really, really old one. I have a non-accelerated notebook which I
keep GP2 and N2 on for a little fun on the train. Does anyone have the
instructions for running NFS SE from the harddrive? I remember reading them
once, but can't find them on the web. Something about editing file
directories...

use a HEX editor and edit the paths found in the PATHS.DAT file in
\nfsse\gamedata\config and change all the instances of G in the paths (where
G is your CD-ROM) to C. Then make a copy of the CD structure on your C
drive and play away
