Why is Internet play only available with the NFS:PU Internet Beta Demo, and
not with the full version of the game? Does anyone know if there will be an
Internet play-patch for the full version?

Oh well, most games allow you to go online from within the game. Besides,
the EAracing people (http://www.earacing.com/) are emphasizing:
"Please note: Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed is currently in a closed
Beta phase."
So I figured you could only go online with the special Beta Demo.

Thanks, I got it to work now. I found out you had to be online *before* you
started NFS 5, otherwise the Multiplayer Options were greyed out.

Yep, that doesn't work for me either. But for now I'm mainly interested in
playing a friend of mine via the ip-server.

When I try to "internet play" the game tells me that an update exists,
and ask if I want to download it now. I of course want to, but then
eaupdater tells me that I don't need an update. If I choose cancel, I'm
not allowed to race either.
